I just released the latest update to Surface Essentials (previously Smart Shaders) with new parquet floor generators and procedural wood textures.

With this update, arch-viz artists can rest assured all your parquet flooring problems are solved once and for all.

Both the flooring patterns and the actual wood texture are 100% procedural, no image textures or UV-unwrapping necessary.

Textures scale infinitely, so you have unlimited resolution and perfect tiling. Change all dimensions and parameters of the pattern on the fly.

All commonly used and some rare parquet patterns are included: Basketweave, Chantilly/Versailles, Checkerboard, Herringbone (including double), Square Basket, Chevron, Hexagon and alternate Plank patterns.

All 31 shaders are now compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and ready to load into Blender's Asset Library.
